Red Bug Motors rents electric and gas-powered vehicles for touring Jekyll Island to see all of the historic sites, woodlands, lakes, and wildlife with a very low impact on the environment.
“Red Bug” Name
The name comes from the first vehicles rented on Jekyll Island beginning in 1919. They were manufactured by Red Bug Motors and sold all over the world.
Requirements
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid drivers license, full coverage auto insurance, and a credit card.
